While we are celebrating ANE's Ten Year Anniversary, the Executive Management is remain to be very fascinated and inspired on ANE's determined journey in the field of the humanitarian and development services in the country in the past ten years. Of course, it has not been very simple task and free of any challenges in our entire courses of the organizational journey since its establishment. But, ANE has come to be the most successful national NGO as we, along with Ethiopian government, our donors and other partners are always firm for our words, responsibilities and commitments to support the people in very destitution situations at different corners. Humanity is a driving factor and more over some of us in ANE have come along with our decades of humanitarian experiences in the world for extended satisfactions we are opting to gain by changing the lives of affected people out a little effort we extend under umbrella of ANE.

We remark the fruitful successes of our organization services in Ethiopia. ANE is now the most reliable and dependable humanitarian organization taking a lead to demonstrate its capacity and flexibility to support the aid service programs under the realm of international humanitarian and development programs. We are so proud and happy that our organization has been authorized by the Ethiopian government office of Agency for Civil Society Organizations (ACSO) to operate out of Ethiopia as it acquires its registration under organization name of Action for the Needy in Africa (ANA).

Most importantly, I would like to congratulate and praise all members of our organization for the most outstanding performance and success stories of humanitarian and development interventions we have been recording in the last 10 years in all regional states of Ethiopia.

Over the 2022 and beyond project partnership agreements established, among the others, with Ethiopian Government Counterparts mainly RRS and DRMC, UNOCHA, UNHCR, IOM, WFP, IRC, USAID, Plan International, World Vision, Care, Finnish Refugee Counsel (FRC) and other potential donors identified, ANE has strongly continued providing numerous humanitarian supports so as to meet the best interest of refugees, IDPs, returnees, host communities and most affected local communities.

We substantially marking this anniversary following the constructive project partnership our organization has embedded with IGAD which inspire and gives us ample opportunities to extend our profound assistance programs in the neighboring sister countries of the IGAD region.

Grateful we are for direct supports of Ethiopian government, our donors, to the combined roles of our organization’s Patron, the General Assembly, constructive leadership by most experienced board members and executive management as well as effective works of more than 634 dedicated staff members and 100 volunteers enable ANE to be considered as the strongest organization ensuring profound interventions to support the Ethiopian government and international community’s efforts in the field of humanitarian and development programs.

I also count on the same level of commitment and efforts of all staff members to enhance our organization capacity for more protection of vulnerable people across the world in 2022 and the years to follow.
